ARTS Competition: Sustainable Budapest of the future in pop art style

Visualisation competition for creative planning

GAK NGO Co. Ltd. and the ARTS project are hosting a visualisation competition, where the entries of top contestants will be showcased at a travelling exhibition and the winner will be awarded a cash prize.

There’s no “ultimate solution” for a sustainable low carbon society. However, there are certain key elements, which have to be accounted for, if we are to reach our goals at all. Our work – and, YOUR work – concentrates on the following low carbon areas:

  • biodiversity and ecosystem services
  • resource efficiency
  • transport and travel forms
  • energy consumption and supply
  • urban life, built environment

The goal of the competition

“Sustainable Budapest of the future in pop art style” is a competition, the goal of which in essence is to create concepts and illustrate them visually, which tries to highlight the importance of sustainable cities through the modern visualisation tools of the pop art style.

We accept ideas for the following topics:

  • biodiversity and ecosystem services
  • resource efficiency
  • transport and travel forms
  • energy consumption and supply
  • urban life, built environment

Long story short: How do you see your city in 50 years? How can we imagine a sustainable future?

Who can apply?

We accept the applications of any idealist, visionary, developer, researcher, who think there are opportunities in visualising sustainability and a livable city through the tools of pop art.
