On 26-27 March 2015 the City of Rotterdam (The Netherlands) will host the 4th Informed Cities Forum titled “Which way to the future? Strategies, tools and inspiration for transforming cities”.

We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 4th Informed Cities Forum, 26-27 March 2015, in Rotterdam (The Netherlands): “Which way to the future? Strategies, tools and inspiration for transforming cities”.

Join us next spring in Rotterdam, the city recognised for its appetite for innovation and recently named the Best City in Europe by the Academy of Urbanism at the 2015 Urbanism Awards.

The 4th Informed Cities Forum is organised by the City of Rotterdam, DRIFT and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability as a co-production of  the MUSIC and ARTS project consortia. This event will bring together a unique mix of dreamers, thinkers and doers from across different sectors and domains. The aim is to learn from each other and exchange experience on the following issues:

•    how to identify and support transition initiatives in your city?
•    how to bring together unusual suspects from across different sectors and domains?
•    how to gather, share and utilise knowledge needed for sustainability transitions?
•    how to move beyond experiments and mainstream innovative practices?

As part of an inspiring two-day programme, participants will have an opportunity to experience transition dynamics in action by taking part in one of six field workshops, designed to bring together local changemakers with their European peers.

If you want to share with us what you are currently doing in your city when it comes to transition initiatives, the MarketPlace is the place to be. You may contact us at informed-cities@iclei.org for more information.

Register now to ensure your place at the forum and reserve your hotel room early to ensure availability and special rates.
